A Halloween Hallabaloo
As I mentioned in yesterday's post, we are happy to announce that we are supporting the Silverlake Music Conservatory at our Grand Opening celebration. Actually, our devotion to this cause is starting with the program's annual Halloween event called Hullabaloo this Halloween night at the train station downtown. It is our pleasure to donate two of our Revolution Vintage flannels and two hand stitched recycled wool beanies to the auction they will be having Saturday night.
You can get your flannels too here...and your beanie here...and if your in L.A. come to this event and support the cause. Music is important to everyone

A SICKY Celebration
For our 100th post, we thought it would be a great time to announce our Grand Opening celebration of our Revolution Vintage flagship store Nov. 20th.
*Skyler Peak left, and John Hildebrand right the owners of Sicky Dicky. Don't know the girl but she's really pretty : )
**Madison Hildebrand, John's brother at Syler Peak's birthday with a female friend. You may know Madison from the Bravo TV series "Million Dollar Listing". He's one of the stars of the show. His brother John made a cameo on the season premiere a couple of weeks ago.
The boys at Sicky Dicky are the masters of ceremony and have graciously accepted the task of putting on this gig. So excited are we, because this event will not only mark the beginning of our new venture at the Malibu Country Mart, but it will also be about giving back. A portion of our proceeds are going to benefit the Silver Lake Music Conservatory. This non-profit organization is about putting the music into the lives of under privileged kids.
**For those of you who don't know, The Silverlake Music Conservatory is a charity that is near and dear to Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers ( seen here at an event for the Silver Lake Conservatory with band mate and good friend Anthony Kiedis there to support ).
Flea was a Malibu resident up until two years ago when he lost his house in the fires and Anthony still resides here as well.
The party's on so I expect to see all of your lovely faces on November 20th! Email me at revolutionvintage@gmail.com to be put on the guest list...
See you there!

Nature's calling you...
Smart art
I am a firm believer that most objects should have multiple uses, which is why I love creating our line Project Ecoart. Our one of a kind, hand painted and collage art tiles are not just great coasters, they are heat resistant to 400 degrees so they can be used as a candle tile as well. Another great use is a paper weight. All in all, a great conversation piece and with the holidays around the corner, a fabulous gift too!
Coming soon to Revolution Vintage!

Clusterf%$k of Cool
Not just a pretty face, Revolution Vintage model ( and my off-spring ), Tatum is also a talented writer. Her accomplishments include writing for not one, but three blogs. The first and most dear to her heart is Pop Wreckoning, a music site where you can see her recent review of the Starf#%ker show.

Top Ten...AGAIN!
It's no secret that my love for all things hand stitched comes from Alabama Chanin. Our Deconstructed Couture Rocker Tees stitching technique is based on Natalie Chanin's book The Alabama Stitch Book. Our rock n roll couture line was even mentioned by Natalie last year here.
So as you can imagine, I am thrilled that Natalie is one of the top ten finalists for the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund ( her first time was with her previous line Project Alabama ).

Rock your world...
Revolution Vintage is online and waiting for you! We are still loading product daily, but for now you can check the items that we have loaded so far like the Deconstructed, couture, one of a kind rocker tees. The fit is slim and sexy hugging every curve. This tee is hand stitched and looks great with skinny black jeans or a leather skirt.
Check them out here.

Planet Blue girls love Revolution Vintage!
Tatum wearing our revolution Vintage "Mother Fucker" tank
I visited our favorite soon-to-be neighbors at Planet Blue in the Malibu Country Mart today, and much to my surprise ( well, actually not really cause they are so cool ), I caught Jess wearing our Mother Fucker silk module tank that she admitted she is much "obsessed" with - she actually wore it three times the first week she got it!
They are so excited about what we are carrying, they can't wait for us to open so they are coming to my house to do a little shopping !
Bring it on girls! Were waiting for you!
Sarah ( loves our Jimi Hendrix belt ), Jess in the tank, and Chelsea, who models for shopplanetblue.com, also has our M.F. tank.
We love you girls! You wear Revolution Vintage so well!
